IT’S “BACK TO THE 80’S” IN GILBERT
Gilbert Fine Arts Association’s Pop Musical Rocks

A huge cast and a live band on stage for the entire show make this musical something different for the valley. The pop musical was written in Australia five years ago, and is timed perfectly with the whole retro craze. It features 75 local youth ages 8-19 dressed in their eighties finest with big hair, mullets, leg warmers and jams. Twenty five of the biggest hits from Michael Jackson, Rick Astley, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran and the B52s will have you singing out loud. Join the graduating seniors of William Ocean High School, as remembered by one of their alums who is now thirty-something. Experience the fun, the heartache, the love and loneliness of growing up all set to the era’s biggest hits. Fun for all ages.
