Decadent Dames,

We are off and running to the races again this August. Due to the combined efforts of our members, Nancy Southall and Marjorie Jackson we are going to have one cool day planned for us in Prescott on August 11th. A bus ride up to Prescott with the first stop being for a little shopping at the ""Summer Festival of the Arts & Crafts" at The Prescott Courthouse Plaza. Next stop our main destination "Yavapi Downs" for some buffet lunch and to bet on the ponies. Last stop on the way home is a stop at Bucky's Casino to spend all our winnings. :-) All this for $45.00 and whatever loose change you bring with you to put on the ponies.

At this time this event is ONLY open to The Decadent Dames. If there are enough DD's to fill the bus we will not need to open this event up to other chapters. Please do not invite or send money for anyone who is not a Decadent Dame, as the check will be returned to you. You will all receive an email at a later date IF this event is extended to other chapters.

Marjorie and Nancy have taken on quite a large task in order to provide us with a great "Adventure in Fun", and it would be great if we could all make their job a little easier and less stressful, so they will come back and do it again next year. 

Here's what we NEED TO REMEMBER:

1. Marjorie and Nancy are volunteering to plan, organize, and handle this event, all courtesies should be extended to them at all times.
2. DEADLINE FOR CHECKS TO REACH MARJORIE IS JUNE 30th ~ NO LATER.
3. DD ONLY, WOMEN ONLY, NO GUESTS 
4. NO REFUNDS can be made once your check has been received. It will be up to YOU to find someone to purchase your ticket if you cannot make it.
5. You must send in with your check your email address, phone number, and mailing address for you and for anyone else you are sending money for a ticket.
6. All of the bus pick-up points will be determined and you will be notified at a later date. (determining pick up points cannot be determined without everyone's mailing address.)

WHERE: Yavapai Downs, Prescott, AZ

TIME: TBA – Probably somewhere between 7 and 8 AM … depending on where we begin picking up … so please wait to hear more once we start getting the reservations in.

COST: $45.00

Included is the bus ride to and from Prescott, admission to the clubhouse, racing program, a delicious buffet and a chance to bet on a horse race and win lots and lots of money. There will be a staff member from the racetrack to explain the different ways to bet.

We went 2 years ago and had a GREAT time. On the way to Yavapai Downs we will stop at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza for a little while and shop at the "Summer Festival of the Arts & Crafts." On the way home we will stop at Bucky’s Casino for a short time so we can all win more money.

Checks need to be received by June 30, 2007. There will not be any refunds. If you find that you can't go after you have already paid, it will be your responsibility to find a replacement.

When you send your check please be sure to include your phone number, e-mail address, home address, and Red Hat Chapter Name. If you are including payment in your check or by separate check you must also send the person's name, phone number, e-mail address, and home address.
