THE SPICERY HIGH TEA WILL BE SERVED SATURDAY APRIL 15th at 2:00p HIGH TEA MENU THE SPICERY LOCATION: For those DD's who are interested in browsing the Antique and Specialty Shops before "TEA TIME" you can meet up at the parking area on Mrytle and 59th Ave at 12:00 and visit the shops at Caitlin Court all located within walking distance of "The Spicery".. Or you may choose to shop afterwards, or both.:-) Car Pools will be arranged if need be depending on the number of RSVP's. HOWEVER, please keep in mind that if you are going to be part of a car pool your shopping time will be dictated according to the Driver's schedule for arrival and departure. Of course needless to say the passengers will chip in to reimburse the driver for the gas. Dames, let's step back in time for a delightful afternoon high tea at "The Spicery Tea Room". Located in the historic Catlin Court district in "Old Towne"
Glendale. "The Spicery" is Glendale's oldest home. The home was built in 1895 and
has been converted into 6 dining rooms, each room having a charm of its own. The
dining rooms are cozy so we will not all be sitting in the same room, however we will all
share the experience of a gentler time gone by while enjoying our wonderful three
course traditional high tea. If that isn't enough, "The Spicery" is nestled within walking
distance of Catlin's Court's 80 Antique and Specialty Shops where we can browse and
shop to our hearts delight. Put this one on your calendar.
